What are your favorite children’s books to share with your kiddos?
"My favorite ones to share with my kids are the Captain Underpants series. My kids are 6 and 8, so they enjoy older books right now. Their favorite parts are the interactive ‘flip-o-rama’ parts. But I enjoy getting to hear them laugh over the silly issues that the series may cover. I'm big into comics, so sharing a book series that plays with the essence of comics is truly amazing to me.”

“We’ve loved Corduroy, The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School, King Jack and the Dragon, and National Geographic books on animals. My sons have a great imagination, and these are cute little books! They share lots of love, curiosity, and adventure that’s great for growing little minds, especially for my boys!”

“I grew up reading Corduroy by Don Freeman and it is still one of my favorites to this day. Sharing it with my kids is such a joy because it's a sweet story about friendship and finding where you belong. The little bear's adventure to find his missing button is filled with excitement and adventure that captured my imagination and has done the same for my kids. It’s also a nostalgic way for me to relive my childhood while creating new memories with my kids. Goodnight Moon by Margaret Wise Brown is such a fun book to share with my kids because its soothing rhythm and simple rhymes create a calming bedtime ritual. The illustrations and the process of saying goodnight to everything in the room bring[s] comfort and nostalgia, making bedtime a comforting routine. It’s a special way to share a cherished part of my childhood with them and create lasting bedtime memories together. The Goosebumps series by R. L. Stine is a fun series to share with my 11-year-old because it combines just the right amount of spooky and thrilling excitement that keeps us both on the edge of our seats. These stories spark my child’s imagination and sense of adventure, offering twists and turns that are perfect for discussing what might happen next. Sharing these books also reminds me of my own childhood thrills, making it a fun way to bond over shared scares and laughs.”
